  4. Sugar - Optional. Use honey if you don’t want to use sugar.
  5. Lemon Juice - It masks the bland taste of the watermelon smoothie.
  6. Mint leaves - For refreshing flavour.
  7. Almonds - Optional. The addition of almonds makes this smoothie tasty, nutritious, and crunchy.

It is one of the easiest weight loss smoothie recipes you can prepare in just 2 minutes:

  • Chop the watermelon into big slices and remove the seeds. I use chilled watermelon, so I have not added ice cubes while blending.
  • Add all the ingredients to a blender.

  • Blend until smooth.
  • Pour into a glass with ice cubes (optional).
  • Top up with the chopped raw almonds.

Substitutions

  • Sugar is optional. You can also substitute it with honey.
  • If Greek yogurt is unavailable, replace it with thick yogurt.

  • To make this smoothie more nutrient-rich and healthy, try using coconut water, coconut milk, or almond milk.

  • Keep it in the fridge if not consumed on the same day.

I use a Nutribullet blender to blend this yummy watermelon smoothie. Also, I use this same blender to prepare Lassi. I use it to blend spices like chai masala, curd masala powder, and Sambar powder. All-in-one equipment that is worth trying!! Being small in size, it is too easy and convenient to use.
