📋Ingredients
To make this easy and quick chocolate dessert, you need only these ingredients:

These mini dessert bites use two chocolates for balance - dark chocolate to hold the walnuts and a gentle drizzle of white chocolate to complement the colourful toppings, just like in my trail mix chocolate bark.
Walnuts pair wonderfully with dark chocolate, whereas chopped pistachios add a lovely green contrast to white chocolate. If you enjoy pistachio flavour, you'll love these air fryer pistachio cookies too.
Dried cranberries and mangoes add sweetness and chew - inspired by my cranberry white chocolate slice and mangonut slice.

👩🍳How to make chocolate bites with walnuts & dried fruits
Break the chocolate along its marked lines into equal-sized pieces. Arrange the chocolate pieces on a baking tray lined with baking paper, leaving a little space between them. Arrange a walnut piece on top of each chocolate piece.

Preheat the oven to 180°C for 5 minutes. Place the tray in the preheated oven (for approximately 30-40 seconds) just until the chocolate softens slightly. Keep a close eye on it, as chocolate can melt quickly.
While the chocolate is still soft, press them gently so they stick. Refrigerate until the walnuts on chocolate has set.

Once the dark chocolate has set, melt the white chocolate chips with the milk in a microwave-safe bowl in short bursts, stirring between each burst until smooth.
Drizzle a little of the melted white chocolate over the walnuts, then finish each piece with chopped dried fruits and pistachios.

Refrigerate until the chocolate has completely hardened. Carefully lift the bites from the baking paper, and they're ready to enjoy!

❄️Storage
Store the chocolate bites in an airtight container in a cool place, away from direct sunlight.
If your kitchen is warm, keep them in the refrigerator to prevent the chocolate from softening.
For the best texture and flavour, enjoy them while the nuts are fresh and crunchy.
🥄Serving Suggestions
These chocolate walnut bites pair well with tea or coffee when you fancy a little sweet treat.
They also make a beautiful addition to a dessert platter, festive table, kids' playdates, or homemade gift box.
You can easily prepare them ahead of time, which makes them especially handy when you're entertaining or want a quick homemade treat ready in the fridge.

📝Tips
Chop the dried fruits and pistachios before melting the chocolate, as it starts to set as it cools.
Don't melt the chocolate completely. Warm it just until it starts to soften. The chocolate should hold its shape but become soft enough for the walnuts to stick when gently pressed.
Press the walnut into the melted chocolate with a light touch, as too much pressure will make the chocolate spread, or the walnut sink in.
Work while the chocolate is soft. Add the toppings straight away so they adhere properly.
Make sure the chocolate is firm before transferring the bites to a storage container.
