🎃A Fun Kid-Friendly Halloween Treat
This recipe is extra special in my kitchen because my cutie, Amulya, originally created these little monsters. She used Oreo cookies, but I adapted the recipe using digestive biscuits. It's such a simple idea, but sometimes the easiest recipes are the ones kids enjoy making the most.

📋Ingredients
You only need four ingredients to make these Halloween treats:

I use digestive biscuits for the base, but you can easily substitute your favourite chocolate or sandwich cookies. Try Oreo cookies for a richer chocolate flavour.
If you're an Oreo lover, don't miss the white chocolate cranberry slice and creamy strawberry bliss!
Milk chocolate adds a sweet, chocolatey flavour and helps bind the biscuit crumbs together. Use dark or semi-sweet chocolate for a less sweet treat.
The googly eyes are what turn simple chocolate biscuit bites into Halloween monsters! Use different sizes or place the eyes at different angles to give every monster its own personality.
See the recipe card for quantities.
👩🍳How to make Halloween monster treats?
Place the digestive biscuits in a zip-lock bag and crush them with a rolling pin. Don't turn them into a completely fine powder. A chunky texture gives the monster treats a fun and scary appeal.

Break the milk chocolate into small pieces and place it in a microwave-safe bowl.
Add the milk and microwave for 15-20 seconds. Stir well. If the chocolate isn't completely melted, heat it in short intervals, stirring between each one.

Add the crushed biscuits to the melted chocolate. Mix until the biscuit crumbs are evenly coated and the mixture comes together.

Spoon the mixture into mini cupcake liners. Use the back of a spoon to gently press and flatten the mixture.
While the mixture is still soft, gently press candy eyes into the top. Give each monster a different expression by using one, two, or even three eyes.

Place the monster treats in the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes, or until firm. That's it! Cute Halloween monster treats, made for little hands and big Halloween fun!

❄️Storage
Because these treats contain milk, keep them refrigerated in a covered container. Take them out of the refrigerator shortly before serving so they are easier to bite.
